My name is brian griffin in 2002 my journey began when I became an active participant and role model in my community focusing on our youth and their development I was general manager of ea prep stars auu which stands for an educated athlete an organization designed to combine and promote the values of education and athleticism on a path to success for all of our stars over the 17 years i’ve encountered hundreds of youth playing sports majority of these student athletes seek sports as an outlet and a tool to escape and avoid trouble that is present and what already exist in our communities today not only does playing sports keep them away from the streets drugs or criminal activity etc it gives these young adults something to aspire to reach their maximum potential and their goals these youth use sports as an innovative way to stay motivated and focus as a connection to strive for success in order to meet their goals college nba nfl mlb etc the issue that arises and sometimes the common factor with these student athletes is finances majority of our athletes come from single parent households or guardians that can not afford to put their son or daughter in sports leaving these young star athletes with no outlet or resources to utilize their greatest potential oftentimes leading them into or becoming victims of trouble our youth sports fund oysf is a for profit organization and fundraising program designed in order to receive and collect sponsorships while giving back and with our participation through community service the program was implemented to help offset the cost and support the student athlete affordability to participate in sports while giving back to the community through community service oysf works directly with aau amateur athletic association and cyfl central youth football cheer league as well as coaches to obtain information about players that want to participate in sports but can not afford to pay registration fees travel cost and uniforms each sponsorship contributes to an athlete being able participate in sports of their choosing oysf lifts the financial burden off families and participants by aiding the cost of the expenses associated with playing sports I would like to invite you or anyone to apply please share this information with those who need assistance with helping our youth stay proactive and productive and focused while reaching their goals please find it in your hearts to sponsor our youth and keep them on the right path brian griffin founder mailing address our youth sports fund 3112 burbank drive charlotte nc 28216 sponsor options checks our youth sports fund cash app carolinawaveaau oysf money orders our youth sports fund cash.
